BlackSea Technologies to Showcase and Demonstrate its Small Unmanned Surface Vehicle at SOF Week 2025 Booth 2601 & Dock 10

BALTIMORE, MD, April 23, 2025 – BlackSea Technologies (“BlackSea”), a leader in the development of innovative maritime systems and mission solutions for the defense and intelligence communities, will feature its groundbreaking small, Unmanned Surface Vehicle (sUSV), the Global Autonomous Reconnaissance Craft (GARC), at SOF Week 2025. The event takes place May 5–8 at the Tampa Convention Center in Tampa, FL.
At 16 feet long with a 200-horsepower engine that delivers a top speed of 40 knots with a payload of up to 1000 pounds, GARC serves as the perfect sUSV for high-speed, autonomous operations in contested military environments. Deployed for over 5,000 hours actively supporting U.S. Navy Fleet operations, GARC provides naval and special operations forces with advanced sensing, modular payload integration, and flexible mission capabilities in the harshest environments, including in 15-foot seas. Mission capabilities include intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR); surface warfare; anti-submarine warfare; and mine countermeasures.
BlackSea will have a GARC on-site at SOF Week 2025 at Dock Space 10, available for attendees to visit during exhibition hours May 6–8. In addition, the company will present live, on-the-water GARC demos as time and conditions permit during the event.
